Elder Samuel K. Scudder, Jr., a teacher and preacher of righteousness, has been serving the Lord Jesus Christ since 1984, and became pastor of Friendship Apostolic Church of God in 2011. His first love is Jesus and the church.  He exhibits a passion for Jesus Christ and Him crucified, and also has a genuine concern for the family of Jesus Christ, the saints. 

 

Elder Scudder is a graduate of Howard University (BA) and George Mason University (MA).  He is a retiree of the Washington, D.C. Public School system where he served as a teacher and administrator.

 

Elder Scudder has been married for 45 years to Elder Mother Willie O. Scudder.  Together, they raised 4 children; one is currently pastor of Philadelphia Apostolic Church of God in Philadelphia, PA.
